Spajić - Stoltenberg: Montenegro has a vital role for stability in the Western Balkans

Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, met today in Skopje with NATO Secretary-General, Jens Stoltenberg, who said that Montenegro has a vital role for stability in the Western Balkans and makes a key contribution to NATO.

Prime Minister Spajić expressed the commitment of the Government of Montenegro to strongly contributing to the goals of the Alliance.

Montenegro has a Euro-Atlantic Government determined to be a strong support for NATO in preserving peace and stability, the Prime Minister said.

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the situation in Ukraine and Montenegro's readiness for stronger participation in establishing a dialogue between countries that have open issues in the region was expressed.
