Information security training at the Civil Aviation Agency

The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA), in collaboration with experts from the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) from Brussels, organized a three-day training workshop on information security. This event took place from February 4 to February 6, as part of the Support to State Programme.

The workshop aimed to provide participants with a detailed understanding of the new European Union regulations regarding information security in civil aviation. Two specific EU regulations govern this area, and the implementation of these regulations at the CAA level is scheduled for 2025.

Participants were introduced to regulatory requirements and their detailed applications through presentations and practical exercises. The workshop included representatives from the CIRT, employees of the Agency (CAA), two experts from EUROCONTROL, and representatives from Air Traffic Control (SMATSA).

This event also provided an opportunity to enhance cooperation among participants at both national and international levels.
