OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATION – WESTERN BALKAN CYBER CAMP

The National Cybersecurity Authority (AKSK) of Albania is organizing the Western Balkans Cyber Camp. This event will take place from May 16 to 18, 2025, at the Flower Hotel in Golem, Durrës. The gathering aims to bring together young individuals, representatives from academia, and national Computer Security Incident Response Teams from six economies in the Western Balkans region. Our goal is to create a regional network of young cybersecurity experts who can collaborate and support one another, ultimately enhancing the cybersecurity resilience of our region in the future.

The focus of this event is to enhance the knowledge of young individuals interested in cybersecurity and/or ICT fields. The program will cover topics such as cyber hygiene, governance, and cybersecurity threats. Additionally, participants will engage in real simulations using the Cyber Drill platform.

Who can apply?

Students aged 18 to 22 studying in the fields of Cybersecurity, IT or ICT and with an interest in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply. After evaluating the submitted applications, eight applicants from each Western Balkans economy will be selected. The organizers will cover accommodation and transport expenses. At the end of the Western Balkans Cyber Camp, all applicants will receive certificates. Proficiency in English is required as the training will be conducted in English.
