Regional meeting on the occasion of Safer Internet Day

On Safer Internet Day, February 11, the National Cyber Security Authority of Albania (NCSA), in collaboration with the Albanian Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, organized a regional meeting focused on cybersecurity. This significant event took place in Tirana, where Montenegro was represented by CIRT.ME.

The event brought together representatives from 13 SEECP member states and international organizations, creating an opportunity to exchange experiences while discussing challenges and opportunities for enhancing cyber resilience in the region.

Panel discussions allowed participants to share their experiences and strategies for enhancing protection capacity. There was a particular emphasis on strengthening cooperation between countries, engaging the private sector in cybersecurity development, modernizing educational programs, and creating collaborative initiatives to improve resilience against cyber threats.

This event marks a significant step towards integrating SEECP countries into the European and international security framework, highlighting the importance of ongoing education and a strategic approach to cyber threats.
