After participating in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić is currently paying an official visit to the Principality of Liechtenstein. Today, he met with Prime Minister Daniel Risch and members of his Cabinet.
In discussions, both leaders emphasised the importance for small countries to strategically leverage their potentials for greater visibility and competitiveness in the broader market. They underscored the need for responsible policies supporting sustainable development and the reinforcement of the rule of law as prerequisites for long-term growth and stability.
Prime Minister Spajić highlighted Montenegro's readiness to adopt best practices aimed at creating opportunities for further socio-economic development. He briefed Prime Minister Risch on planned reforms, emphasising the challenging period ahead marked by the implementation of crucial infrastructure projects and progress on the path to European integration.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, Prime Minister Risch noted that it marks the first prime ministerial visit from Montenegro and expressed interest in enhancing economic relations by strengthening the contractual framework between the two countries. "The experiences of Montenegro are highly valuable to us, and we aim to enhance bilateral relations on all levels," he stated.
Both leaders agreed on the importance of moving towards the signing of a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement in the coming period.
